MILL POND ACRE BED & BREAKFAST
A prairie style one and a half story house built
at the site of the first grist mill to operate in Fairborn,
Ohio. O.B. Armstrong and his wife, Inez, and son, George, owned and
operated
the mill on West Xenia Drive for many years.
Long after the house was first built
in 1920 the Armstrongs added a full second story, a small cottage
and a carriage house on
the property that Inez often referred to as the "Mill Pond Acre" This
is a beautiful acre of land located within the city limits
and walking distance to all the shops and cafes of Fairborn.
We are located only 2.5 miles from the main headquarters
gates of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and just six miles to the
Air Force Museum.
You have your choice of accommodations, the main house
or the cottage. Three rooms in the main house, one with private bath
and antique furnishings along with contemporary amenities such as
cable TV, data ports, and central A/C.
